Extra-financial performance

For several years, Lagardère has maintained frequent, ongoing and seamlessly dialogue with non-financial investment analysts to comply with their growing expectations regarding environmental, social and governance issues.
Extra-financial analysis consists in assessing companies (and other kinds of issuers of financial securities) on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies to draw up a rating and compare ESG practices. Lagardere group assesses its extra-financial performance through the ratings of S&P Global, CDP, VigeoEiris, Sustainalytics and MSCI.

In 2021, for the fourth year running, Lagardere group figured in the "S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2022" (Media, Movies & Entertainment sector);

Sustainalytics

The Group is awarded "2022 ESG Industry Top Rated" and "2022 ESG Regional Top Rated" by Sustainalytics (Retailing sector);

VigeoEiris

The Group is ranked second (out of 21) by VigeoEiris (Publishing sector);                    

 MSCI

Lagardere Group is rated BBB in November 2021 by MSCI (Media & Entertainment sector).
